I know when you put up banners in a table on the header/ footer you use the code:: < marquee > </ marquee > :: to make the banners move.
My question?:: What code is used to make the banners cease moving when the cursor is moved over them?

that's a good question..... *tries to figure out by looking at own code used* Uh.......... I don't know accually.......... I suck at html >< I think I might know....... but really I don't quite understand it. Soooooo... here's the code I used... and sorry that I can't tell you specifically.
</tr> <tr> <td width="70%" class="windowbg" valign="top" align="center"> <marquee onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()" direction="left" scrollamount="3" style="Filter:Alpha(Opacity=100, FinishOpacity=0, Style=1, StartX=0, StartY=40, FinishX=0, FinishY=0);">
<!-- Affilates Start -->
ALL AFFILATES GO HERE!!!
<a href="http://ghnh.proboards46.com/index.cgi?"><img src="http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y239/Koshinki/tsk.jpg" height="36" width="89" border="0" target="_blank" alt="RPGLove"></a>
<!-- Affilates End --> </marquee><br />
I personally think it's the whole part saying: onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()"
But I don't know, acuz I got this code from someone else.

Just get a scrolling box code and delete the marquee html. Simple. If that doesn't work, just make a new table and place the banners in there instead. Both ways should work.

I personally think it's the whole part saying: onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()" She's right--I took a web design class and that is exactly what that means. Therefore I took the code she gave you, edited it and tested it out too. It works fine. Here: <marquee onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()" direction="left" scrollamount="3" > <!--Start--> (Site Info goes here) <!--End --> </marquee> Obviously the scrollamount changes how fast it goes and the direction changes which way it goes--don't mess with the onMouseover and onMouseout stuff. Anything changed there will make it so the stop and start thing doesn't work. Edit: I just realized that this is a really old post--but for those who were wondering and who would rather not look around for a code forever, there you go.
