Hello everyone! I'm new here and also kinda new to proboards as well. I've only been in one proboards RPG and recently created my own (about a month ago). The only problem I've been having is getting people to join. I've been RPing for years through yahoo groups and never really had a problem with recruiting members. Anyway, I was wondering if someone could help me out? I'm starting to think there's something wrong with my forum. Here's the URL: evilsreturn.proboards91.com/index.cgiLet me know what you guys think! Eva Walker

There really is no sure fire way to get your board noticed--for the most part, it's on you to plug it around the web. To get friends to join, to put it up on RPG directories, to join sites like this. Basically it's a matter of you talking it up--the RPG world is rather large, we all know that. And it's real easy for websites to get caught underneath the wheels, so to speak--never assume its something wrong with your site at all--because I really doubt it is. I went to it and looked it over--it really does look like you've got a fine forum. Well organized and easy to navigate. However (and maybe I just didn't see it), I'd consider doing like a welcome note for guests.
People just haven't stumbled across the link yet--that's really the biggest thing you have to wait for. First you have to put your link out there and hope someone manages to click on it.
Try making affiliates with some more established forums--ones that do have a lot of activity. How did you recruit when you were on the yahoo groups?
